Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Day Two....
After a good night's sleep at Pop Century, we got up really early so we could get to the part early and take some good pictures before the crowds got crazy! We took advantage again of being able to enter the park one hour early because we were staying in one of the Disney hotels and loved every minute! We didn't really have any plans at Magic Kingdom for that day (except to get some good pictures of us in front of the castle), so we just played it by ear and had a fun, mellow day! We tried to catch some of the rides we didn't get to the day before and of course, visited the princesses again!
Ready for the day at Magic Kingdom!
Love this picture!
The castle, us, Walt, and Mickey!
Going through Cinderella's castle!
Inside her castle!
Amazing mosaics!
Beautiful!
Telling the story of Cinderella!
So many details in these mosaics!
Posing outside Sir Mickey's castle!
Trying to pull out the sword!
Better luck next time!
Daddy and Lauren outside the tea cup ride!
Ready for our 3D movie!
Playing in Pooh's house while we waited for the ride!
"Ohhhhh! Honey!!!"
Ready for Pooh's ride!
She loved it--and she doesn't even know who Pooh is!
She loved it--and she doesn't even know who Pooh is!
Coloring with Daddy at Tony's from The Lady and the Tramp!
Great food, service, and fun!
Excited to meet Daisy!
She loves Daisy!
The weather was great in Florida but it did get a little warm in the afternoon! We grabbed some fast passes and decided to let Lauren see Mickey, Minnie, and the princesses again! It was a great INDOOR activity and see loved it!
One more stop with Mickey and Minnie!
Being silly!!!
One more round with Cinderella!
Handing Belle the pen!
Belle is one of her favorites!
Fun with Aurora!
Lauren talked about Ariel non-stop and we decided she had to meet her again! Unfortunately, Ariel was not part of the fast passes...so...we went to find the line! The Ariel line was really long and closed about 15 minutes after each session started to get everyone through. Payton decided he would stand in line for us and I would take Lauren to use the restroom, grab a quick snack, and find a play center. When we got back to the line, we waited about 5 minutes and we were in! Lauren could hardly contain herself she was so excited!
Look at that face!
It was worth Payton standing in line for 30 minutes for us!
My favorite picture of her and a princess!
It was getting late in the evening and we were getting tired! We rode a few more rides and then decided to go back to the hotel and call it a night!
She loved the Jungle Cruise!
The animals were so cool!
And this is what a VERY tired toddler looks like after a day at Magic Kingdom! She wasn't actually tired at this point, she was mad I made her sit in the stroller while Payton and I carried all of her bags into the hotel room!
She was really mad at us for whatever reason!
After running around the room, a good dinner, and a long bath...
She was as good as new and ready for bed!
The next morning, we took it easy, slept in, and took our time getting out of town! The Pop Century Resort was really cool and we wanted to walk around and get a few pictures before we left!
The Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads were so cool!
Daddy and Lauren taking in all the sights!
Lauren loves Goofy!
Pop Century!!! We had a great time!

Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Day One....
Since we were staying at the Disney Pop Century Resort, we were able to enter the park an hour earlier than everyone else! We took full advantage of this and made it to Magic Kingdom bright and early! We had a strategy that morning because we knew the line for Rapunzel gets really long...and we didn't want to wait a super long time! So, our first stop was the Tea Cups and Dumbo to buy a little time before going to the Rapunzel line!
Riding the Tea Cups!
Lauren wasn't so sure at first (but it was very early in the morning...)
Right after this picture was taken, she really came alive and was loving the ride!
An attempt at a group shot on Dumbo...
When we finished this ride, Lauren said "that was fun!!!"
She loved this sign with Ariel!
Our next stop was the line for Rapunzel!!! We were third in line and only waited about an hour to see her! I waited the first part while Payton went and got fast passes for the princesses and Mickey. Then we switched and Payton stood in line the rest of the time while I walked around with Lauren. It worked out really well! The look on her face when she saw Rapunzel was worth the hour wait! She absolutely loved her!
Waiting in line for a few minutes...
Looking at the rose garden while Daddy took our spot in line!
Checking out the castle!
Only a GREAT Daddy stands in line with a bunch of women so his daughter can see Rapunzel!
Almost time...
She's waiting as patiently as a two year old can!
Sooooo cute!
Lauren LOVED HER!!! They talked about her hair, Eugene, and lots of other stuff!
Our next stop was the Disney Princesses and Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Since we had our fast passes, we just walked right in! Lauren was in HEAVEN!!!
Aurora and Lauren
Belle and Lauren
Belle is one of her favorites too!
Being silly with Cinderella!
So sweet!
Great family shot!!! She loves Mickey and Minnie too!!!
And then....she was out!!! Meeting those characters takes it right out of her!
Snoozing away!!!
While Lauren took a nap, Payton and I took the monorail and went over to the Grand Floridian to check out that hotel! We had brunch later on in the same hotel, so we wanted to see the sites before we ate! Lauren woke up just in time for brunch and had a great time!
Beautiful hotel!
Birthday girl!!!
Alice in Wonderland!
Lauren with "Country Belle!"
Love this picture!
Mommy, Lauren, and Mary Poppins!
Being silly with Pooh Bear!
"I don't know, Pooooh!"
Fine dining with a two year old...
Fruit loops on the butter...
A special cupcake for a special birthday girl!
She can be a dainty eater...sometimes!
After a great brunch, we headed back to Magic Kingdom and met the Easter Bunnies! After meeting the bunnies, we watched a parade and then let Lauren play in one of the kid areas!
Such a cutie!
Getting ready for the parade with Daddy!
Fun in the play area!
We took Lauren on the Buzz Light Year Space Adventure ride later that afternoon! Although Lauren had a blast...so did Payton and I!!! I didn't know at the time they were taking pictures of us playing the game, but look how into it we are!!! Too funny!
Payton totally beat me!
If you look close in between us...find the pink bow and you can see Lauren!
We took the monorail to the Polynesian Resort for dinner and Lauren enjoyed the HUGE loaf of Hawaiian sweet bread!
Yummy!
After dinner we went back to the park and got ready for the electrical light parade and fireworks show! Payton got Lauren some ice cream and it was a perfect way to end our first day at Magic Kingdom!
We headed back to the hotel and we were ready for day three at Disney World!
Stay tuned for Magic Kingdom, Day two!!!
