Daddy's Home....

Lauren was excited to see her Daddy today when he got home from work!  Here they are sitting together in Payton's new chair!

I'm a proud "Music Teacher Mommy" on this one!  Look at my little Baby Mozart playing away on the piano!  Nine months of listening to my students beat on drums, xylophones, and sing sure didn't hurt her!

My Little Bumble Bee....

I LOVE coming home from school and seeing my little baby girl--especially when she looks this cute!  Auntie Autumn dressed her up today in her totally precious bumble bee outfit and these pictures were just too cute to pass up!

Our Shopping Adventure....

We took Lauren to the store yesterday and tried out her new shopping cart cover!  I'll be honest, I'm really glad she is old enough to sit in this because her carrier is heavy and HUGE!  This shopping cart cover has little straps on it and holds her in (kinda looks like a backpack).  She really liked it too--she was just looking around watching everything and her little feet and legs were just swinging away!

Lauren got into Auntie Autumn's jewelry, hats, and high heels today and played dress-up!

My First High Heels....

Before Lauren was even born, I bought her these absolutely precious shoes called HEELarious High Heels!  She is just now able to wear them (almost 5 months later) and they are even cuter than what I had imagined!

There was a cute little park with a tree swing by the museums so we had to take a little photo session!

Unkie Shay Visits Again....

Unkie Shay (Payton's brother) came for a visit and we were happy to see him!  He hasn't seen Lauren since she was about 3 weeks old.  She has gotten so big since then and she had such a great time with Shay!

My Pretty Little Pink Dress....

We took a break from the bows on Saturday and tried out a little hat--and it was so cute!  Grammie Tammie and Big Pop bought her this cute little dress!  It was perfect for the musuems!

Happy Green Chile Baby....

Last Saturday, we all went to the Hatch Green Chile Festival at Central Market and had so much fun!  Since we don't get good green chile here, we bought tons of green chile stuff and ate dinner at Central Market. 

It only happens once a year so we must take advantage!

A very kind lady gave Lauren this balloon...it kept her busy and entertained for the entire shopping trip!

The Nanny's First Day....

Auntie "Nanny" Autumn officially started her job last Monday when I had to go back to work.  Autumn sent me this picture of their first day together and it looks like they were having a blast!

Elmo Lovin'.....

Yes, I know...another post about Lauren and her Elmo, but she is seriously obsessed with him!  Auntie Autumn took this picture of Lauren and Elmo playing the other day.  And, this is NOT a staged picture!  Lauren really had her arm around him and was talking to him!

Oh, That Bird....

Lauren loves her new exersaucer but is especially fond of the bird on the branch.  The bird turns all the way around and has a little "hair" on top of its head.  I've caught her several times giving the bird "sweet kisses" and talking to him.  Here's a picture of her in a stare down with the bird.

It's The Special Moments.....

It's the special little moments that I enjoy with Lauren; however, at 2 in the MORNING, I'm not always so chipper.  Yesterday, or last night-early this morning, she woke up at 2 AM and decided it was time to play--until 4 AM!  She took a bottle and then it was play time!  After awhile, I just gave in and played with her!

Here we are around 3 AM talking and taking pictures!

And we were are at 4 AM after two hours of playing!
