Eating Seafood....

No, she didn't really eat seafood, but we did.  Lauren enjoyed a delightful bottle of Simalac formula.
We went to dinner at Pappa's Seafood tonight and Lauren had to dress for the occasion.  She wore her octopus outfit and patent leather hot pink shoes (that her Auntie Autumn got her)!  She really did look pretty precious!

Ready to go!  Waiting for Daddy to get home!
Playing in her Bumbo while Mommy gets ready!
Check out those shoes!  It doesn't get cuter than that!
Also, check our her "bracelet..."
It's a pig wrist rattle that she cannot live without--for now!

The Cat in the Hat....

Payton and I found this super cute onesie the other day at Dillards!  The best part--it was $2!  Payton and I both really love Dr. Seuss so we just couldn't pass this up!  Here is Lauren, or should I say, The Cat in the Hat, reading none other than, The Cat in the Hat!

Just getting started!
A little grin!
Full concentration on the book!
All finished!  I love The Cat in the Hat!!!

A Vision In White....

Lauren just looked too cute the other day in this precious white eyelet dress that our friends Nichole and John gave her!  I think the ENORMOUS white flower bow sets the entire outfit off!

Pretty little girl!

Still Chewing....

It was a cute dress until she figured out it was good to chew on...

Still a cutie!  :)

Life of the Party....

Lauren is already the "Life of the Party!"

Too cute!

Ready For Her Date....

We went to dinner with Justin and Tiffany tonight and Lauren had to get dolled up for Zach (Justin and Tiff's 2 year old son).  Lauren usually sits in her Bumbo and watches me (and herself in the mirror) while I get ready.  She likes to play with my mascara tube as well.  I told her she was too young to wear mascara but she wanted to look pretty for Zach!  And don't worry--this was just our "getting ready" outfit.  She of course had a big bow on for their date!

Getting ready!
"Oh I can't wait to see Zach!"

Total Confusion....

Lauren has about 10 pairs of these cute socks that look like little mary jane shoes.  However, the other day she was laying on her playmat and I guess got her sock twisted.  When I came around the corner I was so confused for a moment.  I seriously thought something had happened to her foot!!!

No, her ankle is not twisted....just the sock.

Oh The Places You'll Go....

I went into the nursery the other day to find Payton reading to Lauren.  She loves to sit and listen to us read to her.  This picture was just took cute to pass up!

Grammie Tammie made for Lauren!

Teething....

I'm not completely sure, but Lauren might be teething.  She has been extra drooly, a tad cranky, and trying to chew everything!  This was the first teether toy that she actually took an interest in!

Chew, chew, chew!

Let's Go For A Walk....

Payton and I have been going on walks at night and Lauren has made a big step--stroller with carrier to just stroller!  Here are a few pics from our walks!

Ready to go!
All strapped in wearing her new hat!
Pink hat and shades!  She's rockin'!
"Let's go people!  Quit taking pictures and get on with it!!!"

Ruffle Butt Cutie....

Our friends Justin and Tiffany gave Lauren this super cute outfit!  Tiffany actually made the outfit and it's totally cute!  My favorite part is the ruffle butt!

Look at the 'L'!!!
Tiffany and Lauren!
Cute ruffled butt!

Lauren Rolled Over....

Our little girl is growing up so fast!  She rolled over for the first time on 7/11/10!  I actually caught it on video, but just barely!  Enjoy the video but ignore the screaming moron in the background (I was really excited)!!!

Every Girl Needs a Tutu....

So not only am I obsessed with bows for Lauren, I'm also obsessed with tutus!  Lauren has a few onesies that has a tutu attached, but she didn't have a real, official tutu yet!  Well, that has all changed!  I ordered her a tutu from Every Girl Needs a Bow (http://www.everygirlneedsabow.com/) and it came in!!!  I just couldn't resist ripping the box open, waking her up from a nap, and trying her tutu on her!

So pretty in her new tutu!
Nothing but tutu and smiles!
Big Pop touched this one up for us!
Such a healthy choice....eating her tutu!

Classical Baby....

I have found an incredible show on HBO called Classical Baby!!!  This is the coolest show ever and I'm not just saying this because I'm a music teacher!  It has tons of classical music with a little baby conductor.  Lauren actually "watches" the show and will "talk" or "sing" along with the music!

Learning about shapes and puzzles to Mozart
In her "lounger" watching Classical Baby!

Oh, Elmo....

Lauren still LOVES her Elmo!  In fact, that might be an understatement.  If her Elmo survives the first year, I'll be surprised!

She now likes to eat her Elmo...we'll call them sweet kisses!
"Oh Elmo!  I love you!"

I Love My Uncle....

I've seen lots of "Aunt" stuff but I haven't seen too much "Uncle" stuff for babies.  So when I saw this bib at Babies 'R Us, I had to get it!  Lauren has two uncles, Dane (my brother) and Shay (Payton's brother).  We call Dane, Funcle Dane (Fun Uncle) and Shay, Unkie Shay.

I couldn't get her to smile...but I promise she really does love her uncles!

Mommy and Me.....

A cute picture of Lauren and me!  I just love this little girl so much!

So cute! :)

Jungle Gym Love....

Lauren loves playing under her jungle gym--so much in fact she tires herself out under that thing and falls asleep on occasion!  Can't beat that!

"Talking" to the animals and kicking them!
Sound asleep after "talking" and playing with her friends.
I finally just put a blanket over her and she slept there for a good 45 minutes!

Daddy Lost His Mind, Again.....

Payton really shouldn't go into Pottery Barn Kids anymore because he always comes out with something for Lauren (I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing)!  The first purchase was the chandelier for her room and his latest purchase is a pink adirondack kids chair.  I have to admit, the chair is pretty adorable and she has fun sitting in it!

I LOVE my new chair Daddy!

Pretty, Pretty Baby Girl....

These are some pictures from a little "photo shoot" we had the other day!  Enjoy!

Happy baby!
Who is that fabulous girl?!

Oh, the Flower Bows.....

I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Oh so serious.
"Who me?"
"Mommy is the funniest person ever!"
Very artistic.
Seriously, can they get any bigger?!  Oh yes they can!

Happy 3 Month Birthday....

Our little baby girl turned three months old on July 7th!  Three months has gone by so fast!  She smiles and "talks" all the time now and has even started to really laugh too!  She even rolled over for the first time a few days after her 3 month birthday (video coming soon)!  Her favorite toys are still Dolly the doll, her Elmo (of course), her jungle gym and swing!  She has started sitting in her bouncer to "lounge" and loves to sit and listen to us read books to her!

Such a happy baby on her birthday!
Happy Birthday to me!
Daddy bought me a cupcake from Sugarbaby's!
Daddy and Mommy told me it was really good!
